A remarkable achievement as the first Higher Education Institution (HEI) from the MIMAROPA region to be internationally recognized, contributing significantly to Quality Education. Since 2020, there has been a notable increase in the number of Philippine HEIs participating and ranking in the THE Impact Rankings, reflecting our commitment to global academic excellence and Reduced Inequalities.
In 2020, the number of ranked universities was much smaller, but it has grown significantly over the years. In 2022, 15 Philippine universities were included, a substantial increase from previous yearsโ (PNA.gov.ph)โ, signifying progress toward Decent Work and Economic Growth as well. By 2023, the number of Philippine universities in the THE Impact Rankings rose to 29, further showcasing the country’s growing commitment to global academic excellenceโ (Philstar.com)โ and emphasizing the importance of Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure in our education sector.
This achievement highlights the growing engagement and dedication of Philippine Higher Education Institutions in pursuing global standards of excellence and fostering Partnerships for the Goals.
