Province of Aklan – The Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) together with its regional offices all over the Philippines is actively engaging on the activities and programs that will strengthen its programs and relationships to the stakeholders in the country. Relative to this initiative, the UniFAST conducted a two-day event for the Midyear Assessment, and Public Service Values Program.
CHED Chairman J. Prospero E. De Vera III stated on Friday, July 8, 2022, during the Second Day of the event at La Carmela, Boracay, “Public service is a public trust and it’s tied up with accountability. Being accountable means, you need to have respect and sincerity for those you need to serve, most especially the underprivileged. We are lucky to be given a chance to make a difference in the lives of people.”
UniFAST OIC Director Atty. Ryan L. Estevez stated “We have been progressive in terms of our approach. We go out of our way to talk to our schools and students. We are very proactive. For the past two years, our financial performance is 99% and our challenge now is to make it 100%.”
Moreover, the Midyear Assessment concluded with a fellowship night where Regional Coordinators all over the Philippines and UniFAST Central Office Officials and Staff gathered together and celebrate the success of the conduct of the event.
