Headed by the CHED MIMAROPA OIC Regional Director and OIC Executive Director of Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST), Atty. Ryan L. Estevez , the team of CHED-MIMAROPA joined the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) last March 9-10, 2024 in Calapan City, Mindoro Oriental.
In the two day Serbisyo Fair, CHED-MIMAROPA distributed scholarship grants to 309 students worth PhP2,317,500.00 in the selected HEIs in Oriental Mindoro. These students are few among thousands of beneficiaries of the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) under Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES).

The service continued with acceptance of application for various CHED Scholarship Programs and Orientation on UniFAST programs.
Assistance was also given to 2,048 applicants under the Tulong Dunong Program for DSWD’s Integrated Scholarship and Incentive Program (ISIP).
Five hundred ten (510) attendees of BPSF who visited CHED MIMAROPA’s booth also availed of other services such as CHED Scholarship Program (CSP) inquiry and application, Document submission for program application, curriculum revision, CAV and SO Applications, and even academic consultations and inquiries.
The event has become a useful avenue for CHED-MIMAROPA to reach out, to introduce its services and to express support to the programs and services initiated by the President of the Republic of the Philippines, his Excellency, Pres. Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
