A New Chapter for Higher Education in Mindoro!

The Oriental Mindoro Association of Higher Education Institutions (OMAHEI) proudly welcomed CHED MIMAROPA Regional Director, Professor Edna Imelda F. Legazpi, during a significant gathering at Plaza Del Gobernador, Calapan City.
Marking a new milestone, OMAHEI has officially transitioned into the One Mindoro Association of Higher Education Institutions—bringing together public and private HEIs from both Oriental and Occidental Mindoro to show a unified commitment to educational excellence in the whole island of Mindoro.
A new set of officers were also elected with Fr. Renato Tampol of Divine Word College of Calapan being elected as President. The oath-taking ceremony for the new set of officers were led by Oriental Mindoro Governor, Hon. Humerlito “Bonz” A. Dolor, symbolizing strong support from the local government and the continuing commitment of both public and private institutions for collaboration and development in the region.
This marks the beginning of a stronger, united, and progressive future for all HEIs in the region!
