Review. Realign. Recommit
For two meaningful and productive days, last July 22 –23 2026, the officers and personnel of CHED Regional Office MIMAROPA gathered at Samba Bluewater Resort, Subic, Zambales for the 2026 Mid-Year Performance Review and Action Planning Workshop.
Guided by the theme “Review. Realign. Recommit.”, the activity provided an opportunity for every unit to reflect on the accomplishments of the first semester, openly discuss the challenges encountered, identify areas for improvement, and collectively formulate strategic action plans for the remainder of 2026 in alignment with the CHED ACHIEVE Agenda.
The workshop demonstrated the unwavering commitment of the CHED MIMAROPA family to continuous improvement and quality public service. Through honest dialogue, collaborative workshops, and shared planning sessions, the office reaffirmed its collective commitment to strengthening internal systems, enhancing stakeholder engagement, building organizational capacity, and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
More importantly, the success of this activity was made possible by the wholehearted participation, cooperation, and dedication of every CHED MIMAROPA officer and staff member. The openness to share ideas, the willingness to collaborate across units, and the shared desire to serve our higher education institutions and stakeholders better truly embodied the spirit of teamwork that defines our organization.
CHED MIMAROPA also extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Mark Latoja, our workshop facilitator, for expertly guiding the discussions, encouraging meaningful reflection, and helping the office translate insights into concrete commitments and actionable plans for the second semester.
As we move forward, we carry with us not only updated work plans but also a renewed sense of purpose and a shared commitment to delivering responsive, efficient, and quality public service for the higher education sector in MIMAROPA.
