Today, the CHED MIMAROPA Family proudly shares in the joy and pride of this historic milestone—the conversion of Occidental Mindoro State College (OMSC) into Occidental Mindoro State University (OMSU) pursuant to Republic Act No. 11587 and upon the approval of the Commission En Banc.
This momentous accomplishment reflects years of hard work, commitment, and collective dedication from the institution’s administrators, faculty, staff, students, alumni, local government partners, and stakeholders who have tirelessly worked to elevate the quality of higher education in Occidental Mindoro.
As OMSU embarks on this exciting new chapter, CHED MIMAROPA stands with the entire university community in celebrating this well-deserved achievement.
