Early this January of 2025, 418 students all over MIMAROPA received financial assistance from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) through the Student Monetary Assistance for Recovery and Transition (SMART) grant.
SMART grant is a one-time financial aid program of PhP25,000 to eligible undergraduate students. The financial aid is intended to cover educational expenses such as tuition fees and living allowances, helping students to overcome financial barriers to support their studies.
CHED-MIMAROPA Regional Office will continuously distribute the SMART grant to the remaining qualified higher education students in the provinces of the region before the quarter ends.
