Day 1 (May 24, 2023): Opening Ceremony of the 2023 MIMAROPA Regional Student TES Congress | Redefining Leadership & Your Career Development Cycle Seminar
Joyful and vibrant celebration of the 2023 MIMAROPA Regional Student TES Congress commenced as the opening ceremony kicked off at Palawan State University as the host institution of today’s celebration. Various HEIs in the region gathered for the celebration of culture, identity, talents, and camaraderie. The celebration features the theme of the event “Itanghal, Husay at Galing ng Kabataang MIMAROPA, Inspirasyon ng susunod na Henerasyon.” A heartwarming message from PSU University President Dr. Ramon Docto opens the celebration for all the delegates and MIMAROPA HEIs and an inspiring message from CHED MIMAROPA Regional Director Atty. Joselito Alisuag gives rise to the spirit of comradeship in the region.
The first day of the celebration for the 2023 MIMAROPA Regional Student TES Congress highlights the seminar for the students of different HEIs in the region. A seminar on “Redefining Leadership” kicked off after the opening ceremony of the celebration with the resource speaker, Mr. Jemarjo G. Escalona. Following that, on the afternoon session of the celebration, a seminar on “Your Career Development Cycle” started with the resource speaker Mr. Marvin Jason A. Rodriguez.

Day 1 (May 24, 2023): 2023 MIMAROPA Regional Student TES Congress | Gender and Development & Self-Care: Strengthening your Mental Health in the Workplace Seminar
In celebration of this year’s MIMAROPA Regional Student TES Congress, the seminar for officials and representatives from various Higher Education Institutions in the region took place in PSU Performing Arts Center, starting off with the seminar on “Gender and Development” by Marinduque State College President Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta that highlights the importance of development perspective and processes that are participatory and empowering, equitable, sustainable, free from violence, respectful of human rights, supportive of self-determination, and actualization of human potentials. The afternoon session commenced with a seminar on “Self-Care: Strengthening your Mental Health in the Workplace” with the resource speaker, Mr. Gregorio S. Naldo Jr. – PSU Faculty, which highlights the importance of workers’ psychological, emotional, and social well-being within a shared work environment.
