A festive traditional putong ceremony capped the opening program of the on-site validation of the CHED Composite Team for the compliance and validation of the university status of Marinduque State College. CCT, CHED MIMAROPA headed by Regional Director Atty. Alisuag, and MSC Officials, Personnel, and students congregated at the MSC Gymnasium to witness the historic activity of the institution.

It’s a wrap for the validation activity of the CHED Composite Team for the conversion to university of Marinduque State College. The on-site validation was conducted last February 21-23, 2023. Validators assessed their assigned programs, visited campuses of MSC, validated their learning materials and support structures, and evaluated their community outreach programs, which are some of the many areas that needs to be evaluated for the conversion of MSC to university.

The on-site validation of the university status of Marinduque State College concluded with the closing meeting and exit conference held at MSC Audio Visual Room last February 23, 2023. The program commenced with the presentation of validation results from the respective validators where MSC officials and personnel saw areas that are complied and for compliance. The conference culminated with the messages from MSC President Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, followed by Executive Director IV Atty. Cinderella Filipina S. Benitez-Jaro, CHED MIMAROPA Regional Director Atty. Joselito C. Alisuag, and CHED – Office of Institutional Quality Assurance and Governance (OIQAG) CEPS, Dr. Mildred M. Libot.
